Ready to WIN in 2008!
2004 was an education, because I am NOT a professional politician...
2006 was a token run to keep my name recognizable until this time, but...
2008 is the year to WIN and have a representative working for ALL the people in Northwest Georgia!
I am a student again... working like mad to complete my degree and prepare myself to provide for my family. At the same time, I'm always looking for work to help make ends meet.
I have officially become one of the uninsured millions in America today, and I worry at night about being able to make the mortgage payment to keep my home...
In other words, I am just like a LOT of the people who live in Georgia's Second District- All of Dade County, Rossville, and the rural parts of Walker County.
But, this year, as in 2004, there was no one else willing to step up to the plate: no one to tell our incumbant representative, "No, you can't have this position just by paying your filing fee in Atlanta!" And it is one of my deepest fundamental beliefs that there is no democracy if the people have no CHOICE when they go to the polls.
As Americans, YOU deserve to have a choice!
Spend some time around my site - get to know me and the things I stand for, the things I want to address as your representative. When you do, I hope you will come aboard as a volunteer to help me bring the focus of government back on the PEOPLE, OUR needs, OUR shared concerns.
This will be a tough race, and I can't do this alone!
